What does multi-generational mean?

A multi-generational (multigen) goldendoodle is the product of breeding two goldendoodles beyond the second generations (F2). Meaning both of the dog’s parents and grandparents are goldendoodles, not purebred poodle or golden retriever. Most breeders consider F3 generations and beyond to be multigen.

Duncan Doodles is a breeder of mini-medium sized multi-generational goldendoodles. We have chosen this specific generation of goldendoodles with specific parents having desirable traits and genetics to increase the likeliness of low-shedding coats, teddy bear faces, calm personalities and low allergen levels.
